Why I Created Graphite Atlas

Businesses are human.

People come and go — and when they do, half the map often goes with them.

After a recent departure, my team was left piecing things together from scattered docs, spreadsheets, and diagrams. We had documentation — just not the structure or context to see how things actually worked.

What I needed was a knowledge graph.

Not just a diagram -- but structured knowledge where both the points and the connections carry meaning.

Once I saw it, I couldn't unsee it. Even the spreadsheets I'd used for years? Graphs in disguise.

But something was missing: The tools to build or evolve these graphs don't exist -- not in ways that are intuitive, editable, and owned by the people running the business.

And here's the kicker:

AI runs on graphs. Without them, AI is flying blind.
